The Federal Government has announced a fine of three thousand, five hundred US dollars per passenger onboard international airlines that fail to comply with Covid-19 boarding requirement.

This was announced by the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, ALIYU SANI, as Nigeria prepares to reopen the international airspace this Saturday.

SANI said during the PTF media briefing in Abuja that all passengers on international flight would be required to show evidence of negative Covid-19 test at their point of departure and proof of online payment for another Covid-19 test to be done on arrival in Nigeria.
