There has been a fire outbreak on a four-storey building housing a commercial bank on Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island in Lagos.
Our correspondent CHUKWUEMEKA OBIOMA was at the scene of the incident in the morning hours of Wednesday, August 26, 2020, and reports that occupants of the building were immediately evacuated.
Firefighters were called in and they managed to bring the fire under control, but with signs of the impact on the back side of the building.
Meanwhile; an eyewitness said the fire started when a tanker truck was discharging diesel within the premises of the bank.
A bank official also told Lasgidi FM correspondent that there was no casualty.
