The Cross River State Police Command has confirmed the killing of an Assistant Commissioner of Police, EGBE EDUM, in Calabar.
The Command’s spokesperson, IRENE UGBE, told newsmen in the state capital that A.C.P EDUM was killed by gunmen in the early hours of today.
UGBE said A.C.P EDUM, who was the Assistant Commissioner of Police in Borno State, had traveled to Calabar to visit his family.
The police spokesperson said A.C.P EDUM was attacked after his car broke down along the Murtala Mohammed Highway in Calabar.
