The Independent National Electoral Commission now has a new Director of Voter Education and Publicity, in the person of NICK DAZANG.
DAZANG replaces OLUWOLE OSAZE-UZZI, who is currently on working leave, ahead of his retirement in October.
Also new in INEC’s Voter Education and Publicity Department is ANDY EZEANI who takes charge as Director of Publicity.
Meanwhile; the Independent National Electoral Commission has denied replacing the name of any governorship candidate in the Ondo State election.
INEC National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, FESTUS OKOYE, made the denial following claims made by two aspirants.
In a statement, OKOYO said INEC received only one submission from the African Action Congress through its dedicated online portal for candidates’ nomination.
He advised candidates of political parties with issues relating to their nomination should resolve such with the national chairmen and secretaries of their parties.
