The Independent National Electoral Commission has invited presentation from companies that manufacture electronic voting machines.
The move is in preparations by INEC for the adoption of electronic voting in future elections.
INEC’s National Commission in charge of Voter Education and Publicity, FESTUS OKOYE, said over forty companies have shown interest.
OKOYE said eight of the companies have already made practical and virtual presentations of the products they have.
He said the Commission will continue to update Nigerians on the plans as time goes on.
