Kwara State imposes partial lockdown to check 2nd wave Covid-19

The Kwara State Government has imposed a partial lockdown in the state to check the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The lockdown takes off from midnight and will last till 4:30AM, beginning from tomorrow, Thursday, December 24, 2020.

The Commissioner for Health, RAJI RASAK, made the announcement to newsmen in the state capita, Ilorin.

He also announced a ban on concerts, carnivals, and clubbing until further notice, while worship centres are not allow to take more than fifty percent of their capacity.

The Health Commission also warned that other public gatherings would not be allowed to have more than fifty persons in attendance.
