The Lagos State Health Commissioner, Professor AKIN ABAYOMI, has recovered from Covid-19.
This comes one week after Professor ABAYOMI announced that he had contracted the new coronavirus and proceeded on self-isolation at home for treatment.
The latest development was made known in a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, GBENGA OMOTOSO.
He said Professor ABAYOMI would be returning to his full duties gradually.
The Information Commissioner also said Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU was happy about the news of Professor ABAYOMI’s recovery from Covid-19.
