The Lagos State Government has approved the reopening of private and public schools in the state from Monday next week, November 2, 2020.
A statement on the Lagos State Government’s Twitter handle quoted the Commissioner for Education, FOLASADE ADEFISAYO, confirming the directive.
Recall that all schools in Lagos State were ordered to close on Monday, October 19, 2020, just before the EndSARS protests turned violent, leading to a curfew and widespread destruction across the state.
