Lagos State House Assembly swears in Saheed Wasiu Obafemi for Kosofe II

The Lagos State House of Assembly has sworn-in SAHEED WASIU OBAFEMI as the member representing Kosofe-Two State Constituency.

OBAFEMI was sworn-in as the State House of Assembly resumed plenary after the Christmas holiday.

Recall that OBAFEMI won the bye-election Kosofe-Two Constituency, which was conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission on December 5, 2020.

Meanwhile; the Lagos State House of Assembly, Tuesday, December 29, 2020, received the report of its Committee on Appropriation on the 2021 Budget.

The 2021 Appropriation Bill seeks to authorize the sum of one point one-five-five trillion naira for the next fiscal year.

The budget provides capital expenditure of over seven hundred and three billion naira, while recurrent expenditure is put at four and fifty-one point seven billion naira.

The report was presented by the Chairman of the Joint Committee on Economic Planning, Budget and Finance, YISHAWU GBOLAHAN.
