LASEMA charges motorists to make way for emergency responders

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has reminded people in the state about the need to make way for emergency rescue workers whenever they hear the sound of sirens.

LASEMA’s General Management, OLUFEMI OKE-OSANYINTOLU, said motorists who are unable to pull to the right safely, must slow down to allow for the safe passage of emergency rescue workers.

OSAYINTOLU said LASEMA had noticed that most drivers in Lagos find it difficult to make way for emergency responders, which he said usually delays rescue operations when disasters occur in the state.
