LASEMA warns against buying Petrol scooped from accident scene

Members of the public have been advised against buying petrol from touts around Mile Two and Festac Town areas of Lagos State.

This is because such petrol could have been scooped from the scene of an accident involving a petrol tanker near the Festac Link Bridge.

The General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, FEMI-OKE OSAYINTOLU, warned that anyone who buys the scooped petrol would be encouraging touts to disrupt emergency rescue operations.

OSAYINTOLU told Lasgidi FM News Desk that some hoodlums attacked LASEMA officials when they moved in to take control of the petrol tanker accident scene.

The LASEMA General Manager also confirmed that the petrol tanker accident scene on the Festac Link Bridge has been cleared.
