Leaders pay tributes to Late Balarabe Musa; remains buried

Nigerian leaders have been paying glorious tributes to late former governor of Old Kaduna State, Alhaji BALARABE MUSA, who died yesterday at the age of eighty-five.

President MUHAMMADU BUHARI sent his condolence message to the family of late BALARABE MUSA over the death of the elder statesman.

In a statement issued by the presidential spokesman, GARBA SHEHU, President BUHARI said the former governor was the voice for the voiceless.

Former President, Chief OLUSEGUN OBASANJO said late BALARABE MUSA was a patriot whose death was received with deep shock.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, KEHINDE AKINYEMI, Chief OBASANJO said the late elder statesman gave the best of his remarkable talent and ability in pursuit of a great Nigeria.

On its part; the People’s Democratic Party said it was deeply saddened by the death of BALARABE MUSA, whom it described as an elder statesman and outstanding democrat.

In a separate interview; one of late BALARABE MUSA’s sons, KALLAMU confirmed the death of his father to newsmen in Kaduna.

BALARABE MUSA was the National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, and he was elected governor of Old Kaduna State in 1979.
