Liberian man drowns over $2O Note

A Liberian man has drowned in a river in Monrovia while trying to recover a twenty-dollar note.

Police spokesman MOSES CARTER said the street hawker whose name was given as TAMBA LAMINE, was walking with a friend on the bridge when the note fell.

CARTER said LAMINE was able to recover the money and showed it to onlookers before he drowned.
