Minister’s Aide reverses claim of N250,000 cost for vehicle conversion to gas

The Federal Government has again shifted position on the plan conversion of vehicles from the use of petrol to gas, under its Gas Expansion Programme.

The Minister of State for Petroleum, TIMIPRE SYLVA, had said that the Federal Government would ensure that no one pays for the conversion of their vehicles to run on gas.

However; SYLVA’s Technical Adviser, JUSTICE DEREFAKA, shocked Nigerians when he revealed during an interview on Wednesday that vehicle owners would have to pay two hundred and fifty thousand naira for the gas conversion.

Following criticism that greeted his comment, DEREFAKA has again come out to reveal that he was wrong, as confirmed by his boss and other senior officials.
