Mixed reactions; As Covid-19 enters new phase

Nigerians have been reacting differently to the Federal Government announcement of reopening of places of worship after the Covid-19 lockdown.

Those who spoke with Lasgidi FM Correspondent, NAJITE ATIRENE on the streets of Lagos said they had missed worship in a congregation.

Other members of the public said they would not be taking part in worship in a congregation because Covid-19 is still around.

However; the respondents also expressed concern about the handling of children in churches, and urged church leaders to make provisions to meet the Covid-19 guidelines.

Similarly; operators of interstate transport service in Lagos have condemned the continued ban on their operations.

After over two months of restrictions, the transporters complained that the extension of the ban by the Federal Government would further weaken the transportation industry.

The concerned transport operators spoke with Lasgidi FM correspondent, CHUKWUEMEKA OBIOMA.
