The National Assembly has promised to speed up the passage of the 2021 Budget before the end of this year.
The Senate President, AHMED LAWAN, who doubles as Chairman of the National Assembly, gave the assurance when he welcomed President BUHARI for the budget presentation.
Senator LAWAN expressed the hope that the 2021 Budget would continue to with the gains of the 2020 Budget, which he expects to hit one hundred percent by the end of the year.
On his part; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA, also gave his consent for speedy passage of the 2021 Appropriation Bill.
