The National Bureau of Statistics has announced that inflation rose to fourteen point two-three percent last month of October.
In it Consumer Price Index Report of October 2020, the NBS said the new inflation increased by zero point five-two percent from thirteen point seven-one percent in September.
The NBS report also noted that the food index increased by seventeen point three-eight percent in October, compared to sixteen point six-six percent in September.
It noted that the increase was caused by increases in prices of bread, cereals, potatoes, yam, as well as meat, fish, fruits, vegetable, and beverages.
