The President of the African Development Bank, AKINWUMI ADESINA, has thanked the bank’s Board of Governors for his elected for a second term of five years.
Speaking during the closing session of the ADB’s 55th Annual Meetings, ADESINA described his re-election by one hundred percent votes as historic.
Meanwhile; President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has congratulated ADESINA on his re-election, and pledged the full support of his government to ensure a successful tenure for the AfDB leadership.
Similarly, former President of Nigeria, GOODLUCK JONATHAN, said he was proud of ADESINA because he has remained consistent as a man of vision and considerable capacity.
For his part; Lagos State Governor, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU said ADESINA’s re-election is a testimony to his hard work, dedication and commitment to the growth and development of the Africa continent.
