The Oyo State House of Assembly has approved the indefinite suspension of caretaker chairmen of thirteen local government councils and local council development authorities.
Those affected are Akinyele East, Ido, Oluyole, Ibadan North-East, Lagelu West, Soro, Ogbomosho Central, Ogbomosho South, Ajorosun, Ibarapa North-West, Itesiwaju, Oyo East, and Oyo South East.
The State Assembly said the suspended council chairmen failed to act on a resolution requesting information on the condition of earthmoving equipment under the supervision of the councils.
