The Ekiti State Police Command has denied reports that herdsmen who were forced to leave Ondo and Oyo states have now moved into Ekiti.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP SUNDAY ABUTU, said that the State Police Command has not received any report of such movement or relocation of herders.
ASP ABUTU said the Commissioner of Police, TUNDE MOBAYO, has assured the people of Ekiti State of adequate security.
He called on everyone to be calm, vigilant and to report any strange and suspicious persons found in their areas to the nearest Police Station.
