The Federal Government has rolled out its gas expansion scheme, which is called the National Gas Expansion Programme.
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI performed the launch of the programme from the State House in Abuja.
President BUHARI said the gas progamme is strategic and would help to reduce the effect of the global crude oil market.
On his part, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, TIMIPRE SYLVA, said the National Gas Expansion Programme is part of efforts to provide efficient sources of energy and create jobs in the oil sector.
