President Buhari list achievements by Military to mark Armed Forces Remembrance Day

The Federal Government has released a list of achievements by the Nigerian Military under the Buhari Administration to mark this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA, said the achievements include the weakening of the Boko Haram terrorist group since 2015.

ADESINA said despite recent happenings in Borno State, the security situation there and the entire Northeast is far better under President BUHARI, that what it used to be.

He said unlike the years before President BUHARI, indigenes who fled Gwoza, Askira-Uba, Dikwa, Ngala, Monguno, Kukawa, Damboa, Konduga, and Mafa are safely back to their homes.

January 15 every year is set aside as Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Nigeria to celebrate the Armed Forces and also honour war veterans in the country.
