Pro-Police group suspends Abuja protest, as EndSARS group returns

Reports from the Federal Capital Territory indicate that EndSARS protesters returned to the streets of Abuja after yesterday’s attempt to break them up with armed thugs.

Sahara Reporters publisher and Revolution Now convener, OMOYELE SOWORE, who has seen at the protest grounds, took to his Twitter handle to confirm the development.

As the protests entered the ninth day; the protesters took their demonstration to the Eagle Square, in front of the Federal Secretariat in Abuja, where they sang the National Anthem.

Meanwhile; the Coalition of Northern Groups has canceled their plan to stage a counter-protest in Abuja in support of the Nigeria Police.

The Abuja Coordinator of the CNG, HARUNA ADAMU, said they decided to postpone the protest after reviewing situations in the FCT and Lagos.

ADAMU said that there was the need to coordinate their planned protest, which he said would now take place on Monday next week.
