The University of Ibadan now has an Acting Vice Chancellor, in the person of Professor ADEBOLA BABATUNDE EKANOLA.
Professor EKANOLA was elected by the University’s Senate, after scoring two hundred and seventy-five votes to defeat four other candidates.
Professor EKANOLA replaces Professor IDOWU OLAYINKA whose tenure expired with effect from today, Monday, November 30, 2020.
Before his election, Professor EKANOLA was the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academics.
