Meanwhile; the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 has released guidelines for the reopening of churches in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The guidelines include restricting the number of people at a time and conducting services in batches to maintain social distancing.
Places of worship are also required to ensure proper physical, environmental and respiratory hygiene, including provision for temperature checks at the points of entry.
The Coordinator of the Task Force, SANI ALIYU, who made the announcement during a media briefing in Abuja.
On his part; the Chairman of the PTF and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, BOSS MUSTAPHA, said there was still much to be done in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic.
