Rivers State gets N448 2021 Budget

The Rivers State Executive Council has approved a budget of four hundred and four-eight billion naira for 2021.

The Council also approved the sum of two billion for the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission to conduct local government elections next year.

Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, KELVIN EBIRI, confirmed in a statement that the approvals were given during a meeting of the council at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

EBIRI said Governor NYESOM WIKE chaired the meeting, while the Commissioner for Finance, ISAAC KAMALU, briefed journalists after the meeting.

KAMALU said the 2021 budget would help the Rivers State government to complete all ongoing projects in the state and also make life better for the people.
