Sallah Celebration: Government advises muslims to observe Covid-19 guidelines

Nigerian Muslims have been reminded of the existing guidelines to check the spread of Covid-19.

The advice comes as Muslims in Nigeria prepare to join their counterparts around the world for the celebration of Sallah this weekend.

The Federal Government announced that all the existing guidelines of the current phase of the Ease of Covid-19 Lockdown are still in force.

Muslims are advised to perform indoor prayers with limited number of people, while prayers session should not exceed one hour.

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force, SANI ALIYU, announced the measures during a media briefing in Abuja.

Also speaking; the Minister of Transportation; ROTIMI AMAECHI, announced measures that have been adopted for the resumption of train service from Abuja to Kaduna, with fifty percent increase in fare and strict observance of Covid-19 guidelines.
