The Senate Committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs says it will approve the one point three billion naira proposed for the State House Clinic in the 2021 Budget.
However; the Senate Committee want the money to be spent on providing the right equipment so that President MUHAMMADU BUHARI and his top officials will not have to travel outside the country for medical treatment.
Chairman of the Senate Committee, Senator DANJUMA LA’AH made this known when the Permanent Secretary of the State House, TIJANI UMAR, appeared before the Committee for budget defence.
Meanwhile; the sum of nineteen point seven billion naira is proposed for the entire State House in the 2021 Budget.
