The Senate has kicked against the removal of NASIRU ARGUNGU as the Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment.
The Senate also asked President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to revisit the presidential decision, so as not to delay the Federal Government’s temporary job offer to seven hundred and seventy-four thousand unemployed Nigerians.
The Senate took the decision following a Point of Order raised by Senator IBRAHIM HADEJIA from Jigawa East Senatorial District.
The Federal lawmakers also called on President BUHARI to investigate the disagreement between the sacked NDE Boss and the Minister of State for Labour, FESTUS KAYAMO.
