Nigerian soldiers have killed at least eight suspected terrorists in the latest operations in Yobe and Borno states.
Five terrorists were gunned down by troops at Chindila town in Yobe State, while three others were killed at Mayankari in Borno state.
The Acting Director of Defence Media Operations, Brigadier General BENARD ONYEUKO, said the fighting happened yesterday afternoon.
He said items recovered from the terrorists include six AK-47 rifles, five magazines, seventeen rounds of ammunition, and one Improvised Explosive Device making equipment.
