The Nigerian Defence has confirmed the killing of twenty-two suspected insurgents and bandits in military operations in the past five days.
The Coordinator of Defence Media Operations, Major General JOHN ENENCHE, made this known during a media briefing at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
Major General ENENCHE said troops of Operation Lafiya Dole engaged some terrorists and stopped an attack at an Army Super Camp in Damboa, Borno State.
ENENCHE said troops also killed five bandits at Diskuru village in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.
