United States President, DONALD TRUMP has asked the agency in charge of the handover to President-elect JOE BIDEN to begin the transition process.
Following the directive, the General Services Administration has acknowledged BIDEN as the apparent winner of the election earlier this month
Meanwhile; JOE BIDEN has nominated ANTONY BLINKEN as incoming Secretary of State.
BLINKEN confirmed his nomination on his Twitter handle, saying if he gets final clearance, he would take on the job with his full heart.
BLINKEN was a former Deputy Secretary of State and Deputy National Security Adviser during the Obama Administration.
