UN Deputy Scribe confirms efforts to address #ENDSARS demands

The Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, AMINA MOHAMMED, says the world body is aware of the EndSARS protests in Nigeria.

AMINA MOHAMMED also said the UN will do everything necessary to ensure that demands of young Nigerians in their protests against police brutality are resolved.

MOHAMMED, who was Nigeria’s former Minister of Environment, made this known when she appeared on a television programmed monitored from Lagos.

She had also informed President MUHAMMADU BUHARI about the interest of the UN during an earlier meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
