The Minister of Education, ADAMU ADAMU, has inaugurated the visitation panel for the leadership crisis in the University of Lagos.
The inauguration of the panel comes a day after the Federal Government appointed JOHN MOMOH as Acting Chairman UNILAG Governing Council.
The Education Minister charged members of the UNILAG Visitation Panel to do a good job as they look into the crisis that rocked the university.
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI asked WALE BABALAKIN to step down as UNILAG Pro-Chancellor when he set up the visitation panel.
BABALAKIN had been locked in a bitter dispute with Professor OLUWATOYIN OGUNDIPE, and had him removed as Vice Chancellor.
UNILAG currently has Professor FOLASADE OGUNSOLA as acting Vice Chancellor, following her election by the Senate of the university.
