VP Osinbajo advocates timeline for completion of Court cases

Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor YEMI OSINBAJO, has called for strategies to speed up the handling of court cases.

Professor OSINBAJO recommended that court cases should not last more than fifteen months.

He also said another problem with the handling of cases in Nigeria is conflicting orders by different judges.

OSINBAJO made the observations on behalf of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI during the conference of the Nigerian Bar Association, which he joined through an online video link.

In his presentation; Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU of Lagos State, who is host to the NBA Conference, examined the role of the group of lawyers in nation building.

Meanwhile; the NBA President, PAUL USORO, called on members of the Bar to work together in making their contributions to nation building.
