World Humanitarian Day: Lagos pays tribute to Late Dr. Stella Adedavoh

The Lagos State Government has paid respects to late Doctor STELLA ADADEVOH who died in 2014 while helping to stop the spread of the Ebola virus.

The Commissioner for Health, Professor AKIN ABAYOMI, paid the tribute as the world marked International Humanitarian Day yesterday.

Professor ABAYOMI also said an organization that was set up in honour of late Doctor ADADEVOR has been supporting efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in Lagos.

He said ADADEVOH’s courage served as tonic that continues to propel the determination to win the war against the new coronavirus.

Meanwhile; Lagos State added one hundred and seventy-two new cases of Covid-19 yesterday, out of five hundred and ninety-three confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
