YIAGA Africa has scored the conduct of the Edo State governorship election high.
The civil society organization revealed that the results declared by Independent National Electoral Commission conforms with figures it collected from the field.
YIAGA Africa Board member, EZENWA NWAGWU, said the group used what it calls ‘Parallel Vote Tabulation’ methodology to measure the performance by INEC.
NWAGWU said that YIAGA Africa monitored the election last Saturday through its `Watching The Vote’ movement’, with five hundred observers.
