The people of Kano State will be voting on Saturday, January 16, 2021, to elect Local Government Council Chairmen and Councilors.
Ten thousand officers and men of the Kano State Police Command will be on duty to monitor the local government elections.
This was announced by the Police Public Relations Officer, ABDULLAHI HARUNA, who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
DSP HARUNA told newsmen in the city of Kano that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Nigeria Customs Service and the Nigeria Correctional Service will also have their people on election duty on Saturday.
