2 Nigerians face Trafficking charges in Ghana

Officials in Ghana have charged two men who are said to be from Nigeria for alleged child trafficking.

Reports say the suspects, who were identified as MONDAY JOHN and FIDELIS HARUNA, were taken before the Accra Circuit Court.

JOHN and HARUNA are accused of trying to sell one nineteen-year-old DESTINY OKOYE to an herbalist for two million naira.

They are said to have pleaded not guilty to the charges and are expected to reappear before the court on December 28.
