The Lagos State Government has offered one hundred million naira grant to twenty-three young innovators and pioneer tech firms.
The fund was released from the two hundred and fifty-million-naira seed capital that was set aside by the state government last year, as Research and Innovation Fund.
During the presentation of the bank cheques; Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, said the aim of his administration is to solve contemporary challenges facing the state.
Governor SANWO-OLU said the innovation grant was initiated with the objective to empower local innovators to create specific solutions for local challenges.
