At least 29 people, including children, have died in a stampede at a crusade ground in the Liberian capital, Monrovia.
The incident happened on Wednesday in a football pitch in New Kru Town, which is mainly occupied by working-class people in Monrovia.
The victims were attending a prayer programme organized by a popular preacher, Pastor Abraham Kromah.
The Police spokesman Moses Carter said the number of deaths could increase, as many victims are still in critical conditions.
