At least seventy-two people have died in violent protests in South Africa, which was sparked by the fifteen-month imprisonment of former president, Jacob Zuma.
Reports say ten of the victims were killed in a stampede during looting on Monday night at a shopping centre in Soweto.
South African police said they had identified twenty people who are suspected of provoking the riots, while one thousand, two hundred and thirty-four others have been arrested.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has described the violence as the worst in South Africa since the 1990s, before the end of apartheid.
