The Africa Centre for Disease Control has appointed Nigerian Afropop star, Yemi Alade, as its Global Ambassador.
Yemi Alade is to lead the CDC’s Pan-African campaign to encourage Africans to get vaccinated against Covid-19, which is being done in partnership with a card payment company.
In a post on her Twitter handle, the singer said she was excited about the offer to join thousands of other Africans in the movement to stop the spread of Covid-19.
