A 25-year-old lawyer PAULETTE ABISOLA AJAYI has been abducted by unknown gunmen in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
Lasgidi FM News Desk gathered from close contacts in Port Harcourt that PAULETTE ABISOLA AJAYI was abducted in front of her residence at Rumu-okurushi community on Sunday, October 4, 2020.
Our source said the woman was trailed by some armed men in police and army uniforms who intercepted her and forced her into a white Toyota Venza car.
Meanwhile; the national leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association has intervened in the matter, and has set up a seven-man task force to rescue the lawyer.
NBA Publicity Secretary, RAPULU NDUKA, confirmed in a statement that the family of the abducted lawyer had contacted the NBA President, OLUMIDE AKPATA to report the incident.
The task force headed by NBA First Vice-President, JOHN AIKPOKPO-MARTINS; Port Harcourt NBA Chairman, PRINCE NYEKWERE.
