The People’s Democratic Party Chairman in Akwa Ibom State, UDO EKPENYONG, has died from complications related to Covid-19.
Sources close to the family and the Akwa Ibom State Government told newsmen that EKPEYONG died at a hospital in the state capital, Uyo, on Monday.
EKPEYONG was the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs before becoming the State PDP Chairman.
