The Lagos State Government has approved the full reopening of all markets across the state on daily basis.
This brings to an end the operations of markets for foodstuff and non-foodstuff on alternate days; the measure which was put in place during the gradual easing of Covid-19 lockdown.
The Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Doctor WALE AHMED said all markets are now to open daily.
Doctor AHMED said Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU approved the measure to further boost economic activities in Lagos State after the Covid-19 lockdown.
