The All Progressives Congress in Abia State has rejected the results of the local government election on Friday last week.
State Publicity Secretary of the APC, BENEDICT GODSON, made this known in a statement, four days after the election.
GODSON alleged that the ruling People’s Democratic Party in Abia State rigged the council elections with the help of the state Independent Electoral Commission.
However; the spokesman of the PDP in Abia State, FABIAN NWANKWO, denied the APC’s allegation, stressing that the local government election was credible.
