Black market booms in India, as hospitals battle rising Covid-19 cases

Hospitals in the Indian city of Delhi and many other cities across the country are struggling to deal with rising cases of Covid-19 infections.

Reports say hospitals have run out of beds, and families of patients are being forced to find ways to get treatment for sick relatives at home.

The situation has given rise to black market sales of essential medicines, oxygen cylinders and concentrators are high prices.

India set a new global high daily record of coronavirus infections today at three hundred and fifty-two thousand, nine hundred and ninety-one.
