Officials of the Lagos State Government have raided meat sellers operating at illegal slaughter slabs in parts of the state.
One of such illegal slaughter slab, which was destroyed, was located at Oke Rube axis of Alimosho Local Government Area.
Officials of the Monitoring team of the Ministry of Agriculture were seen moving impounded meat and some animals into huge trucks.
The Acting Commissioner of Agriculture, ABISOLA OLUSANYA, said the seized meat was donated to the Juvenile Remand Home at Oregun, after it was certified by the veterinary team.
