In sports; the Nigeria Football Federation wants the Confederation Cup match between Rivers United and Bloemfontein Celtic of South Africa to be postponed or moved to another venue.
The NFF made the request to the Confederation of African Football following the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The request was made two days to the set date for the match, which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2021, in the city of Port Harcourt.
The NFF said the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control had refused to adjust the Covid-19 protocols, which require members of the South African team to be quarantined before the game.
